I will be a groomer for Belle! ベルのトリマーになるよ！

Belle is a Maltese dog, so she needs to get grooming.
I always take her the grooming shop once every two months.
However, this time, my vet told me that grooming at the shop will make stress.
Especially, taking a bath will be dangerous for Belle for the humidity.
Therefore, I decided that I do her grooming!
I bought some tools for that. 🙂
Fortunately, she doesn’t has dog odor, so I don’t think she needs take a bath anymore.
I wiped her face and body with a steamed towel, after that I wiped with a dry towel.
It was enough.
I also groomed her face and toes.
During the time, she was relaxed and I was a little nervous. 😀

ベルはマルチーズなので、トリミングが必要です。
二カ月に一回、ペットサロンに連れていきます。
でも今回、動物病院の先生から、ペットサロンでのトリミングはストレスになること。
特に、湿気の多いお風呂に入れるのは、ベルにとって危険であると言われました。
なので、トリミングは、私が自分ですることにしました！
いくつかの道具を購入しました。(^_^)
幸い、ベルは犬臭さがありません。だからもうお風呂に入れる必要はないと思います。
彼女の顔と身体を蒸しタオルで拭き、その後、乾いたタオルで拭きました。
これで十分です。
顔と足先の毛も、少しカットしてみました。
その間中、ベルはリラックスしていて、私はちょっとナーバスになっていました。(^o^)

　

Making a new dress and a bag ハンドメイドの服とバッグ

I made a dress and a matching bag about a month ago.
I found the cloth in my closet.
I thought the material was wool, and I tried to use a pattern for that.
However, my tailor’s chalk didn’t work for the cloth.
Therefore I drew the line on the cloth directly, using a felt pen!
I cut the armholes too much, so I sewed back tie belts in both sides.
The idea worked well, and I put flower motifs on each of the belts.
I like the flower motif, so I also sewed them on the pocket and the bag.
Actually, I wanted to wear the dress and the bag when I met my nice friend, Chris.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t meet this time, but I look forward to getting the next chance.

ひと月ほど前、チュニックとお揃いのバッグを作りました。
その布地はクローゼットで見つけました。
素材はウールだと思い、型紙を使おうとしました。
でも、私の持っているチャコペンは生地に乗らなかったのです。
そこで、布に直接、マジックでラインを描いちゃいました！
袖ぐりを大きく切りすぎたので、後ろ結びのベルトを付けました。
このアイデアは良かったと思います。そのベルトにはお花のモチーフを付けてみました。
私はこのお花のモチーフが好きです。なので、ポケットとバッグにも付けました。
実は、私の素敵な友達、クリスに会う時、この服とバッグで行こうと思っていました。
残念ながら、今回は会うことができなかったけど、次のチャンスを楽しみにしています。

　

　

　

　

New Face Award! 新人賞！

One of my friends likes painting pictures.
She wonderfully won a new face award for an art show.
I went to the exhibition yesterday.
Her painting was very different to her former style.
I like the color and expression in the image.
I think that she got something to improve her skill.
I really look forward to her next paintings!

友達に絵を描くことが好きな人がいます。
素晴らしい事に、彼女は新人賞をもらいました。
昨日、その展覧会に行ってきました。
彼女の絵は以前のスタイルとは全然違うものでした。
私は、今回の絵の、色、想像の表現方法が好きです。
彼女は新しい才能を開花させる何かを掴んだんじゃないかなと思います。
彼女の次の絵がとっても楽しみです！

P.S. There were some autumn leaves around the museum.
They were beautiful!

Walking with Belle!! ベルと散歩！

Yesterday afternoon, I asked Belle “Do you want to go for a walk?”
She saw my face. I went into the bathroom, then I heard her step.
Surprisingly, she was waiting for me in front of the bathroom door.
“She must want to go outside.”
We went to a park which was near my house. Belle was in my arms.
There were beautiful autumn leaves!
I took some pictures.
Smart phone is very convenient, because I got in the pictures with Belle by myself.
Belle looked like she was having fun. Actually, she tried to walk!
However, it made cough, so I stopped her.
Even so, it was very lovely day.

P.S. I also enjoyed walking with her again today.
We went to see some seagulls in a river.
Yesterday, she coughed when she was about to walk.
I think that she tried to walk quickly, so her leash was pulled and wrung her neck down.
Therefore, today, I put Belle on the ground carefully, and said to her, “Slowly!”
She was very clever, she responded to my command.
She could walk and smelled some places for a short while.
We learn something every day!

昨日の午後のことです。ベルに聞いてみました。「お散歩に行きたい？」
ベルは私の顔を見ました。私がトイレに入ったら、ベルの足音が聞こえてきました。
驚いたことに、トイレの扉の前で私を待っていたのです。
「外に行きたいんだわ。」
家の近くの公園に行きました。ベルは抱っこされています。
公園の木々はとても綺麗に紅葉していました！
何枚か写真を撮りました。
スマホは便利ですね。ベルと一緒に写真が撮れるんですもの。
ベルは楽しそうでした。歩こうとしたぐらいです。でも咳が出たので止めました。
それでも、本当に素晴らしい日でした。

追伸：
今日もまた、ベルと散歩する時間を楽しみました。
川にいるカモメを見に行きました。
昨日の散歩のとき、ベルが歩こうとすると咳が出たのは、ベルが急に歩き出したため、
リードに引っ張られる形になり、彼女の首を絞めつけたからだと思います。
なので、今日はベルをそっと地面に置き、「ゆっくりよ！」と彼女に言いました。
ベルはとても賢いわ。私の命令にちゃんと応えてくれたのです。
ほんの少しの間だけど、歩いて、匂いを嗅いでいました。
毎日が勉強です！

 

My husband’s nice idea! 主人の良いアイデア！

A few days ago, my husband told me, “I will sleep with Belle in the living room tonight. You can sleep well in our bedroom.”
How nice the idea was! We can take turns taking care of her at night.
It means we can get a good sleep once every two nights.
Yeah, we are tired, because she coughs a lot, especially in the night.
Fortunately, I think she is getting a little better, though she still coughs a lot.
Belle still has energy to bark when she hears other dog’s barking.
Also she eats her food once a day.
I enjoy taking care of Belle now, and cross my fingers for her.
I’m happy to take care of her.
I really hope she can be comfortable for as long as possible.

主人が私に言いました。
「今日は僕がリビングでベルと一緒に寝るから、君は自分のベッドでぐっすり寝るといいよ」
うわー、なんていいアイデアなのでしょう。夜は交代で世話をしたらいいのね！
じゃあ、二日に一回、それぞれ良く眠れるって事ですもんね。
確かに、夜の咳がひどいので、二人とも疲れています。
嬉しいことに、ベルはまだ咳はたくさんするけど、少し良くなったように思います。
ベルはまだ、他の犬の吠える声に反応して吠える元気があります。
さらに、ご飯も一日に一回ですが、食べてくれます。
今はベルの世話を楽しみながら、祈っています。
ベルの世話をできることが幸せです。
出来るだけ長く、穏やかに過ごしてほしいと思います。

 

Having a bad week. 大変な週を過ごしています。

I’m spending this bad week.
Suddenly, Belle started to make coughs.
I know this was a bad sign, so I took her the vet quickly.
The vet gave me a medicine, but it didn’t work.
The vet is a little far from my house, moreover I can’t drive.
Therefore, I took her another vet which is close to my house.
I was worried about what was the vet like.
Fortunately, he was gentle and kind.
Especially, it was good that Belle wasn’t afraid of him.
His explanation was clear and I think I can trust him.
He added another medicine.
I am hoping the efficacy of the new medicine, but it’s not working yet.
Belle’s condition is still not good, especially she makes coughs in the night.
She coughs at all hours of the night, so I sometimes get up and hold her in my arms and pat her back.
This is the only thing that I can do.
Even if her condition becomes better, probably, she will end up suffer again and more.
I don’t want to watch Belle suffer. I’m afraid of that.
Needless to say, I’m selfish and chicken.

今週は大変な週になってしまいました。
突然ベルが咳き込み始めたのです。
これは悪い兆候だと知っていたので、すぐに病院に連れて行きました。
お薬を出してくれましたが、効きません。
その病院は家から少し遠く、私は運転ができません。
なので、家の近くの病院に連れて行きました。
どんな獣医さんなのか、心配していました。
幸い、優しくて良い先生でした。
特にベルが先生を怖がらなかったので、良かったと思いました。
先生の説明はとても分かりやすく、信頼できる先生だと思います。
先生は別の薬を追加してくれました。
この追加してくれた薬に期待したのですが、なかなか効き目が表われません。
ベルの状態はよくないです。特に夜中にたくさん咳が出て辛そうです。
夜中はずっと咳をしているので、私は時々起き上がって縦に抱っこし、背中をなでてやります。
今、私に出来ることはこれだけなのです。
もし、彼女の状態が少し良くなったとしても、結局はまた、いや、もっと苦しむことになるでしょう。
ベルが苦しむ姿をみたくない。怖いです。
やっぱり私はわがままで、アカンたれです。

a good walking day お散歩日和

It was a nice day for walking.
The sky was blue and the wind was gentle.
I walked long distance more than usual.
I saw some Tree dahlias.
Do you remember? I asked the flowers name here and got the answer by one of my friends.
This flower looked good on the blue sky.
After that, I found a reasonable and popular Okonomiyaki shop.
I bought some for lunch.
It was yummy! Lucky me. : )

散歩日和だった。
空は青くて、風が心地よかった。
いつもより長い距離を歩いた。
皇帝ダリアを見たよ。
覚えてる？ここでその花の名前をここで尋ね、友達が教えてくれたの。この花は青空によく似合う。
その後、安くて人気のお好み焼き屋さんを見つけた。
お昼ご飯に買ったよ。
美味しかった～！ラッキーだったね、私。(^o^)

Gadget ガジェット

I went on a trip to Tokyo for three days last weekend.
I have a smart phone, so I installed some apps for the trip.
Some of apps were very convenient, especially the transfer information app was excellent.
I also paid for every trains and buses by a IC card (Pitapa） ticket.
It was really convenient.
Moreover, I borrowed a guide book from a library before the trip. I found the QR code, so I installed into an app.
Therefore, it was the same thing as I brought the guide book.
It was not heavy and free, of course.
Tokyo is a big city, so I didn’t need to worry about the internet connection.
I thanked to the advanced technology.
By the way, I enjoyed my trip very much.
I’ll write about that later!

先週末、東京に三日間の旅行に行きました。
スマホを持っているので、いくつかのアプリを入れていきました。
アプリって便利だね～。特に乗り換えアプリがよかったです。
乗車賃はすべてICカード ピタパで支払ったし、本当に便利でした。
さらに、旅行の前に、図書館でガイドブックを借りたんだけど、その中にQRコードがあるのを発見。
それもアプリにインストールしていきました。
なので、ガイドブック一冊を持っていったのと同じことでした。
重くないし、タダだしね、もちろん。
東京は大都会なので、ネット環境も心配いらないですもんね。
テクノロジーの進化に感謝だわ。
ところで、その旅行、楽しかったです♪
