I was waiting for the yarn I ordered, and finally received it about 10 days ago!
I wanted to crochet a vest and had already prepared the chart pattern.
I had tried to crochet the gauge, but I couldn’t control it, because the yarn I ordered was not the same thickness as in from the recipe pattern.
Therefore, I searched other recipes patterns in online and found a good recipe one for a cardigan.
(I didn’t mind care if it would be were a vest or not. (haha))
I crocheted a cardigan using the recipe pattern, and also crocheted a bag that was my original design.

10日ほど前に、注文していた糸がやっと来ました！
ベストを編みたかったので、編み図も用意していました。
寸法を確認するのにゲージを編んでみたけど、うまくいかない。
注文した糸と編み図で指定されていた糸の太さが違ったからです。
でも、ネットで検索したらちょっと好きなタイプのボレロのレシピが見つかりました。
カーディガンでもボレロでもどっちでもいいわ。(笑)
ボレロを編み、ついでにおそろいでバッグを。これはオリジナルです。

 

 

It was a wonderful walking day. ステキなお散歩日和

I walked around Sumiyoshi-shrine with one of my friends last week.

We looked around in the shrine and found two big old Japanese zelkova.
They are about 800 and 1000 years old!
I thanked to the trees, because the sound of the leaves and the shadow were very comfortable.　I thanked the trees, because the sound of their leaves and their shadows made me feel good.
When As we were about to go out an entrance, an old man said to us, “Look at that! It’s a snake. We are lucky, because we saw a snake in this shrine.”
I don’t like snakes, but his words made me happy. Yap, people say that snakes are embodiment of female god.  To be honest, I dislike snakes. I didn’t want to see them. However, I remember that people say that snakes are the embodiment of a goddess. Therefore, his words made me happy.
We took out the shrine and walked a street. We left the shrine and walked along a street.
It was sunny day, so walking was very comfortable.
After a while, we found an old restaurant which has been in business for 100 years.
We enjoyed very delicious meal “Mame-gohan” there.

Then, we visited a temple. There was an oil Jizo made of stone.
It was unique, because people pour oil into the Jizo and pray for their wish, so the Jizo turned turns black and shining.
We walked a lot, so we took a rest at a cool café. We chatted to the sound of quiet good BGM sounds. the quiet relaxing background music.

Before we say said goodbye, stopped by a miso shop. There was a 90 years old master who was very interesting parson. I’ll write about him someday. 😀
We met some people on that day and all of them were very kind and gentle.
It was a really wonderful day.

 

先週、友達と住吉大社付近を散策しました。
住吉大社を見学しているとき、二つの古い大きなケヤキを見つけました。
樹齢およそ800年と1000年です！
葉っぱのそよぐ音と影は本当に気持ちよく、木に感謝しました。
ちょうど住吉大社を出ようとしたその時、男性が私たちに声をかけてきました。
「ほらあそこを見てごらん！蛇がいますよ。神社で蛇をみるなんて、ラッキーなことですね。」
実は私、蛇は嫌いです。でも、彼の言葉は嬉しく思いました。確かに蛇は幸運のシンボルといいますね、しかもこの古い神社にいる蛇ですものね。
神社を後にして、近くの道を歩きました。
その日はとてもいいお天気で、ウォーキング日和でした。
少ししてから、創業100年という古い食堂を見つけました。
そこで美味しい豆ごはんをいただきました。
それから、油かけ地蔵が祭られているお寺に行きました。お地蔵さんは石でできていて油をかけられるのは珍しいと思います。お参りに来た人たちが、お願い事をするときに油をかけるので、黒々と光っていました。
たくさん歩いたので、素敵なカフェで休憩しました。静かなBGMを聞きながらおしゃべりしました。
お別れする前に、お味噌屋さんに立ち寄りました。ここの90才になる店主の男性がおもしろい方なのです。
いつかここに彼のことを書きたいと思います。＾＾
この日、お会いした人たちはみな親切で優しい方ばかりでした。
とても素敵な一日になりました。

 

LINE ライン

A lot of people are using the apps LINE instead of emails or text messages recently.
Especially, it looks work well at time of disaster.
Therefore, my husband and I have started to use LINE each.
After we registered, my husband asked me like this;
“I’ll tell my sister our both ID, are you alright?”
I said, “Sure”.
After a few moment, my husband received his sister’s message on his LINE.
“Nice to meet you! Thanks.”
A few minute later, his sister added me on her LINE, so I was waiting her message but it didn’t come after all. I was a little upset. I sent a message to her, “Thank you for adding me on your LINE”.
I found that she read my message, but again there was no message.
What was the meaning? Why didn’t she give me any message?
Maybe she didn’t think we need to contact by LINE. I was bummed out a little.
I think we have a normal relationship as relatives. It is not bad.
Her character is not the same as mine, of course, so she has her own thought about her LINE.
Anyway, this happening was sort of a big problem for me.
I wrote my sad feeling here right now, so I will forget this problem.
I’ll get back my energy when I wake up tomorrow morning.

最近、たくさんの人たちがメールの代わりにラインアプリを使っています。
特に災害時に役立つようです。
そこで、主人と私もそれぞれラインを使うことにしました。
登録したあと、主人が私に聞きました。
「妹に二人のID知らせておくよ。いい？」
私は答えました。「うん、いいよ。」
少しして、主人のラインに妹からメッセージが入りました。
「はじめまして。よろしくね！」
数分後、妹は私を追加してくれたことがわかりました。なので、彼女からのメッセージを待っていました。
でも、来ないのです。ちょっと慌てました。そこでこちらからメッセージを送りました。
「○○です。追加してくれてありがとう！」
既読になったので、読んでくれたことがわかりました。でも、やっぱり返事は来なかったのです。
どういうこと？なんで返事もくれないのかな？
もしかしたら、彼女は私とラインでつながる必要はないのに・・と思ったのかもしれません。ちょっと悲しく思いました。
義妹と私は親戚として、普通の関係だと思います。仲が悪いとかではありません。
義妹は私とは違う性格なので、たぶんラインに関して彼女自身の考えがあるのでしょう。
とにかく、この出来事は私にとってちょっと大きな問題でした。
今、この悲しい気持ちをここに書いたので、忘れようと思います。
明日の朝起きたときには、元気を取り戻していることでしょう。

I like handwork. 手作りが好き

I’m going to crochet a vest myself and waiting for the yarns which I ordered.
Usually they come very soon, but the store is out of stock now, so I have to wait for a couple of days.
Umm, I want to make something right now.
I like handwork, so I made an ornament to hide an outlet of an air conditioner on a wall.
I bought two fake greens at a one coin shop and I put them on a plastic pot.
I used hemp string to hang the pot.
I made the case for the pot from a cloth and embroidered on it.
I think it’s not so bad.

ベストを編むために注文した糸を待っています。
いつもすぐ来るのだけれど、在庫切れで数日待たないといけないのです。
うーん、何か作りたいなぁ。
そこで、エアコンのコンセントを隠すための飾りを作ることにしました。
100均でフェイクのグリーンを二つ買い、プラスチックの鉢に入れ、麻ひもで吊り下げるようにしました。
布で鉢カバーを作り、刺繍をしてみました。
うん、悪くないかな。

I didn’t know the fact.
I thought the light green cherry blossoms keep the first color.
Wow!
I took the pictures on 16th.
We could still enjoy the cherry blossoms here. 😀

黄緑色の桜は、最初の色をすこーし残しつつも、薄い桃色になっていた。
知らなかったなぁ。
てっきり、最初の色のままでいると思ったわ。
写真を撮ったのは16日です。
まだお花見ができました。長いね！＾＾

I am very sorry for the people suffered from the earthquake.
I can’t believe the number of this earthquake. The frequency is too much!
I hope the earthquake will finish very soon.

地震に遭われた方、本当にお気の毒です。
地震の度重なる回数が信じられません。
どうか、早く収まりますようにと祈るばかりです。

When the earthquake happened yesterday, I was watching TV.
I heard the alarm for the earthquake from the TV, and the footage on the screen had changed very quickly.
It already showed the place of the earthquake happened.
I saw smoke from Kumamoto castle.
I was surprised by the earthquake and also surprised by the quickly report.
I’d like to express my sympathy to the people living in the regions hit by the earthquake.

地震が起こった時、テレビを見ていました。
あの緊急地震速報の音もテレビから聞こえました。
それと同時に画面が地震で揺れている街の様子に変わり、
熊本城から出ている砂けむりが見えました。
その報道の早かったこと。
地震にももちろん驚きましたが、その中継の映像の早さにも驚きました。
地震の被害に遭われた方々に、お悔やみとお見舞いを申し上げます。

Where did I get the pattern? 型紙はどこから？

One day, I was watching a TV program casually.
A person was explaining the way to make a tunic.
I felt like to make it, so I recorded the program in a hard disk.
However, the hard disk doesn’t have the function to pause.
I needed to see and draw the pattern.
A nice way came to me. I took the picture by my cellphone.
Therefore, I could get the pattern and make the tunic myself.
Don’t you think it was a good idea?

女性がチュニックの作り方を説明しています。
あ、いいなと思い、作りたくなったので録画しました。
でも、そのハードディスクにはポーズの機能がないのです。
型紙を描き写さなければなりません。
そのとき、いいことを思いつきました。スマホで写真を撮ったのです。
無事に型紙を描き、チュニックが仕上がりました。
ちょっといいアイデアだったでしょ？

I also took a picture for the light green cherry blossoms.
I’ve enjoyed a lunch time by viewing the cherry blossoms with my husband and Belle this weekend.

まだ桜、残っていました。
八重桜も咲き始めてたし、黄緑色の桜もあったので写真をパチリ。
週末、桜を見ながら家族でランチタイムを楽しみました。＾＾
