I saw visitors when I just went out from my house today.
I followed them fast, because I wanted to tell them about an old house which is close to here.
They were Canadian family who are parents and a son.
I told them that they can see the inside of the house and it was built around 400 years ago.
They looked getting interested in the old house.
When I was explaining how to get the old house, the son said the direction in Japanese.
I knew he is living in Osaka for six months.
“Oh, that sounds good. I don’t have a good skill for explanation of direction.”(hehehe)　Maybe it will be also difficult to say in Japanese. 😦
They were about to going to a knife museum, so I suggested to go to the old house after the museum.
I felt my English was not so good yet, but I was satisfied because they thanked to me with smile.

今日、家を出たところで外国人の観光客が歩いているのを見かけた。
山口家住宅を教えてあげようと速足で追いついた。
カナダから来た家族で、ご両親と息子さんだった。
400年前に建てられた古い家の中が見学できるところがあるんですよと言ったら、興味深そうな返事があった。
行き方を説明していると、その息子さんが日本語で右？左？と聞いていた。
日本に半年、住んでいるんだって。ご両親は日本に来るのは初めてだって。
（あら、息子さん、日本語が話せるんだわ。よかった）
私って方向の説明が下手なのよ。(笑) 日本語でもダメかも。^^;
そのご家族、包丁のミュージアムに向かうところだったらしく、その後で行けばいいわよというと、お母さんが、絶対行くわとの返事。
私の英語、まだまだだなと思ったけど、笑顔でありがとうって言ってもらえたので嬉しかった。

Crocheting かぎ針編み

I am into crocheting recently.
One day I went to a library and found a nice book titled “78 Floral Blocks to Crochet”.
There were many colorful photos of the motifs in the book.
I’ve already known some crochet motifs but there were many other motifs that I’ve never seen.
I realized the author came from another country. That’s why they were so unique.
I borrowed the book and crocheted some unique motifs.
I feel like, I want to crochet all the motifs of the book, so I bought the same book.

最近、かぎ針編みにハマっています。
いつだったか、図書館に行ったとき、「かぎ針で編む花のモチーフ78」という本を見つけたのです。
たくさんの写真とともにモチーフが紹介されていました。
いくつかのモチーフは知っていましたが、その本には見たことがないモチーフがいっぱい。
ふとみると、その本の著者は外国の人でした。だからこんなに珍しいものがたくさんあったのね。
その本を借りていくつか編んでみました。
そしたらモチーフを全部編んでみたくなったので、同じ本を買っちゃいました。

 

 

Is it ok? ”Die Japan!” いいの？「日本死ね！」って。

“If I have to get buzz-cut, I’ll die.”
I heard the word when I passed a boys group by bike today.
I was very surprised the word “die”.
I’m not sure what they were talking about and I guessed the word was used as the boy’s feeling. Probably he really didn’t want to get buzz-cut.
However, he should not use the word so easily.
Recently, a tweet was raised by media.
“My kid rejected by a nursery school. Die Japan!”
I understood the feeling why she tweeted like this, but it was rude.
I think it was rude for all Japanese people.
We have the right everyone can say anything, but we should think about the meaning deeply.
I was also surprised that nobody didn’t say anything about the word “Die Japan”.
Everybody focused on the fact that nursery schools are shortage in Japan.
I understand it is a very important problem, but we should also think how to use words when we want to say something in society.
A lot of young people might mimic the word “Die!”
I’m worried about that.

「俺、坊主頭になるんやったら、死ぬわ！」
今日、自転車で集まっている5,6人の少年たちを追い越した時にこの言葉を聞いた。
「死ぬ」という言葉にとてもビックリした。
彼たちが何を話していたのかはわからない。たぶん「死ぬ」という言葉は彼の気持ちを表しているのだろう。よっぽど坊主頭になるのが嫌らしい。
でも、そんなに簡単に「死ぬ」という言葉を使ってはいけない。
そういえば最近、一つのツイートがメディアに取り上げられて話題になった。
「保育園落ちた。日本、死ね！」
彼女の気持ちは理解できる。でもこの表現はダメだと思う。
これはすべての日本人に対して失礼になる言葉だ。
私たちは言論の自由という権利がある。だから何を言ってもかまわない・・ことはない。
その言葉の持つ意味、影響力を考えるべきだ。
でも誰もその言葉に対して意見を言わないことに驚いている。
みんな保育園落ちた（保育園が不足している）ということだけに注目している。
もちろんそれはとても重大な問題だ。でも同じぐらい、社会に対しての発言は、言葉の使い方も考えなければならないと思う。
たくさんの若い人たちが真似するよ。「死ね！」って。
なんだか心配だな。

A walking around the Aeon mall イオンでお散歩

Aeon mall started since last Saturday.
The mall is next to a small station and connected with a crossover bridge.
I’ve never seen such a lot of people at the station though I’m using it mostly.
The station has automatic gates, so was sometimes desolated station before.
However, it has four or five station attendants and some security guards now.
I’m very happy to see the situation, because it looks very lively.
By the way, I have a problem with the mall. Whenever I go there, time would be fly.
Therefore, I just went for a walk with my dog Belle today.
It has a good walking space. There is an artificial small stream and some benches.
I came to like the place!

イオンモールが先週の土曜日にオープンしました。
小さな駅の隣にあり、歩道橋でつながっています。
一番よく使う駅だけど、こんなにたくさんの人を見たことがありません。
自動改札があるので、時々無人駅になることもありました。
ところが今は、4-5人の駅員とガードマンが数人います。
すごく活気があって、嬉しくなります。
ところで、ちょっと問題があります。
そのイオンモールに行ったら時間があっという間に過ぎてしまうのです。
なので、今日はベルとちょっと散歩するだけにしました。
そこにはちょうどいいウォーキングスペースがあります。
小さな人工の川があり、ベンチもあります。
お気に入りの場所になりました！

 

 

I sometimes dream of the same scene. 同じ夢

I sometimes dream of the same scene when I am sleeping.
The same scene is like this, I always want to take a brisk walk, but I can’t.
Why I want to take a brisk walk? It is different depends on each dream.
Anyway, I can’t walk fast, so I always turn around my body and to try to walk backward.
The way is very funny, because I drag my left foot and hop my right foot.
It never succeeded and I feel big stress.
People say that some dreams have some reasons.
I was thinking about that a while and I think I can’t take a brisk walk in my dream, because I am in my bed. My feet are not on the ground! (lol)

時々同じ夢を見るのです。
いつもとても早く歩きたいのに全然歩けない。
なんで早く歩きたいかって？それは夢によってちがうのだけど。
とにかく早く歩けないのでいつも体を後ろに回転させて、後ろ向きに歩こうとするのです。
それがおかしくてね、左足を引きずって、右足でけんけんするの。
一度も成功したことないし、すごいストレスよ。
夢には理由があるっていうでしょ？だからちょっと考えてみたのよ。
でね、思うんだけど、早く歩けないのはたぶんお布団の中だからかな。
そもそも足が地面に着いてないもの。(笑)

 

Impression, Sunrise 日の出

 

It was a wonderful day today.
I saw a painting which was “Impression, Sunrise” painted by Claude Monet.
The exhibition was held on Kyoto museum.
Recently, the day when the paint was drawn was found by researching.
It was Nov.13th in 1872 and the time was around 7:30 am.
I could see the authentic painting today. It was so beautiful!!
I was impressed and my eyes were teary though I’m not sure why.
It was the first experience for me.
I felt that I could see the scenery with my eyes.
The frame of the painting was a window and the real scenery was over the window.
I could jump over the time.
It was the most beautiful painting in my life.
I tried to remember the feeling into my memory.

今日は素晴らしい日だった。
京都でモネの「印象・日の出」を見たのだ。
最近、その絵は1872年11月13日の午前7：25-35分の間に描かれたものだということが判明した。
その本物の絵を見たのだ。とっても綺麗だった！
すごく感動したし、なぜか涙ぐんでしまった。こんなことは人生で初めてのこと。
モネが見たその本当の景色を見たような気がした。
額縁が窓になり、モネが見たその景色がその窓の向こうにあった。
時を超えることができたのかもしれない。
今まで見たたくさんの絵の中で、一番の美しい絵だった。
その感覚をしっかり覚えておこうと頑張った。

 

All hina dolls are so beautiful! どのお雛様もとっても綺麗！！

All hina dolls I met were very beautiful and each face had a little different expression and flavor.
Some of them had big family and many accompanying items.
Some hina dolls were small but cute.
Probably, many hina dolls have high quality and made by famous craftworkers.
I don’t know much about that part, but I feel that every hina dolls have their own soul.
I mean, when someone make something, the things were given special things from the craftworkers.
Their mind, hope and soul, so I like handmade works.

I’ll finish showing hina dolls pictures this year.
This event was a nice memory and I’ve been already looking forward to seeing hina dolls next year.
出会ったお雛様たち、みーんな綺麗でした。それぞれが違う表情で趣があって。
大家族でお道具もたくさんお持ちのお雛様。
小さいけれど可愛いお雛様。
たぶん有名な職人さんに作られた高い品質のお雛様もたくさん居たに違いない。
そのあたりの事はよくわからないけれど、お雛様たちから魂が感じられました。
ほら、何かを作るときって、その作った人から与えられるものがあるでしょう。
気持ちとか、希望とか、心を込めて作るから。だから手作りはいいなと思うのです。

今年のお雛様を紹介するのはこれでおしまい。

Go around hina dolls 雛人形めぐり

I stopped by three places which were decorated hina dolls this time.
The hina doll of the first picture was created about 70 years ago.
The top of the shelf had a palatial home.
It was very gorgeous and I thought the emperor and empress dolls were high position. ^^
I took the second picture in a tea shop.
The size was big and the condition was very good even though it was created at the beginning of Showa period.

The last one was in a gift flower shop.
It came from about 50 years ago.
Some real candies that we call “Konpeigou” were on a plate.

All hina dolls were so cute.
I like watching hina dolls.

今回は三か所、お雛様めぐりをしてきました。
一つ目は、七十年ほど前に作られたお雛様で、なんと御殿付きです。
とても豪華な御殿だったので、きっとお雛様たち、高貴なお家に生まれたのでしょうね。

二つ目のお雛様は、お茶のお店で撮りました。
とても大きな段飾りで、昭和初期に作られた古いものですが、コンディションがとてもよかったです。

最後のは、お花のギフトショップで撮りました。
五十年ほど前のものだそうです。
本物の金平糖が供えられていました。

どのお雛様も可愛かったです。
お雛様めぐり、楽しいです。

Apple vs FBI アップル対FBI

Apple fights order to unlock San Bernardino gunman’s iPhone.

In America, people are talking about which is correct Apple or FBI, and their opinions separate half and half.
The presidential election is coming soon, so it became one of the point of issue.
I heard that it seems like the Republic Party is on FBI and the Democracy is on Apple side.
The guy Mr.Trump who became very popular even in Japan tweeted “Let’s boycott Apple products” using iPhone. He’s very funny and crazy!

Anyway, what do you think about this problem? Which is correct FBI or Apple?

Mr. Cook said that if the FBI wins the case and forces Apple to create a backdoor into its iPhones, law enforcement agents from throughout the U.S. “have already said they have hundreds of iPhones they want Apple to unlock.”

I think this is true. If Apple will have to unlock a lot of iPhone then has another problem and the policy of Apple would be destroyed.
Besides, if FBI could unlock the iPhone which used by the terrorist, I don’t think that FBI could resolve of the terrorist offense. The cause will be remain.

By the way, FBI seems weak. My image of FBI is “clear-headed staff”. It was only in movies? (lol)

アップル社は、去年、カリフォルニアのサン・バーナディーノで起きた悲惨なテロによる事件の犯人が使っていた携帯電話暗号を探る方法を見つけろという命令と戦っている。

アメリカでは、アップルを支持する人とFBIを支持する人は半々に分かれている。
大統領選挙が近いので、その争点の一つにもなっているらしい。聞いたところによると、民主党はFBIを、共和党はアップル社を支持しているとか。
日本でも有名になったあのトランプ氏が、「アップル社をボイコットしようぜ！」とiPhoneを使ってツイートしたんだって。笑っちゃうね。やっぱりクレイジーな人だな。

ところで、FBIとアップル社、どっちの言い分が正しいと思う？
アップル社のCEOクックさんがこう言っている。
「もし、FBIが勝ち、アップル社がこのiPhoneの暗号を解除できるようにしたら、中身を調べてもいいとされているアメリカ中の何百という他のiphoneもアップル社に暗号解除しろということになるだろう。」
私はこれは本当だと思う。アップル社はたくさんの数のiphoneの暗号を解除することになったら別の問題が生まれるだろうし、アップルのセキュリティに対する方針がめちゃくちゃになるわね。それに電話の中身を知ることでテロ問題が根本的に解決するとは思えないし。

それにしても、FBIって頼りないのね。FBIのイメージって、頭脳明晰な人たちの集まりっていうものだったけど、それって映画の中だけでのこと？(笑)

A tree-planting ceremony 植樹祭

An Aeon mall is going to open soon.
The preliminary opening will be on 15th, and grand opening on 19th this month.
Before that, an event “tree-planting ceremony” held on 6th
I attended the event with my husband.
Our name is supposed to put on a plate, so I look forward to seeing it!

大きなモールがもうすぐ開店する。
１５日にプレオープン、グランドオープンは１９日だ。
それに先駆け、６日に植樹祭が行われ、主人と一緒に参加してきた。
参加者の名前がプレートに載るそうだ。見るのが楽しみ！
